Position Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Designing and building an infrastructure to implement a capacity management capability for New Business service organization.*Designing COE strategy for demand forecasting and capacity planning. *Collaborating with Leaders to determine the most cost effective staffing models to meet operational targets. *Developing and implementing effective staffing models for more than 300 associates using capacity management tools and techniques. *Collaborating with leaders at various levels and across Genworth COEs to drive capacity management efficiencies.
*Becoming an expert of capacity management relating to assigned business processes, including upstream and downstream implications.
*Work closely with other Master Schedulers for consistency across Genworth businesses.
*Leading and executing capacity management projects. Identifying issues and challenges, measuring and validating project results, and successfully implementing all facets of improvements for changes identified.
*Ensuring proper backup for Master Scheduler.
Basic Candidate Qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree in Business (or related field)
*5-8 years operations experience.
*2+ years experience with capacity planning technologies.
*Experience with modeling techniques, Erlang, stochastic, regression, LEAN, etc.
*Insurance product and process knowledge.
*Experience working within a matrix hierarchy.
*Self-starting, able to work with little direction but large amount of collaboration.
