JOB REQUIREMENTS:

You are responsible for staffing the Hotline, providing phone-based education & referrals in a professional and courteous fashion as you are dealing with medically sensitive information.  You handle inbound and very occasional outbound calls to educate consumers aregarding available health & human services, aid consumers in the application process and respond to consumers inquiries and complaints.  You will be required to maintain a current understanding of Medicaid and related services for low income sonsumers as related to their eligibility and the application process. 

 

We are looking for associates who have 2 years of health/human service exp and 1 year of call center exp. You will be receiving approximately 100 inbound calls per day answering questions on Medicaid coverage.

 

HOURS:

You need to be able to work a flexible schedule as the call center is open 7 days/week from 7a-8p (Sat/Sun 8a-5p.) The position will be 25-37 hours per week but need to be able to work the first 3 weeks from 9a-4p for training. The dress is business casual and this is a possible temp to hire.
