Purpose of Position:

To provide quality customer service while effectively accepting and responding to customer calls and inquiries regarding network providers. To meet or exceed client expectations regarding quality and service levels

Essential Functions:

Consistently meet or exceed standards for quality, customer service, call volume and service level per department guidelines.

Determine type of provider requested, proper market definitions and refer customer to appropriate network provider

Effectively communicate accurate provider and benefit office information to caller.

Assist providers with application fulfillment

Handle routine customer issues and refer any escalated concerns to Team Leader.


Qualifications:

Require:

High School Diploma or GED

Ability to effectively work in a fast paced environment.

Effective verbal communication skills and ability to convey information clearly.

Effective problem solving skills.

Ability to utilize PC keyboard effectively and accurately. Able to type a minimum of 20 words per minute

Desired:

Active pursuits of higher level education such as Associates or Bachelors degree program.

6 + months of customer service/telephone experience in a call center environment and/or industry.

Knowledge of medical terminology.

Familiarity with telephone techniques and skills.
