Job Summary Reviews applications and makes decisions regarding creditworthiness for the issuing of credit cards. Uses systematic tools for more accurate decisions and to determine credit line within approval authority limits. Inputs decisions into the system. Requires in-depth knowledge of credit card underwriting criteria. Normally has more than 2 years of experience.

This position is responsible for rendering credit decisions on existing ?Gold Option and Gold Reserve accounts.? This includes additional advances, credit line increases, and apr reductions.? Decisions are rendered by actively speaking with applicants to develop detailed financial information, completing a cash flow analysis, and thoroughly documenting conversations and other necessary application development.? Emphasis must be placed on quality development, account activation, and solicitation of cross-sell opportunities, while managing to acceptable risk thresholds.



Required Skills
A minimum of $10,500 lending authority as gained through the initial lending education program
Minimum of 9 months of customer contact experience
Excellent knowledge of Federal and State regulations
Basic knowledge of Credit Online application platform
Advanced knowledge of credit reports
Strong analytical/problem solving skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Self-motivated and results oriented
Demonstrated ability to exceed quality and productivity standards
