Ocean Import Agent

DHL Global Forwarding, a global leader in the field of integrated transportation and logistics is expanding its Boston office to better serve our customers in the New England area.

Our amazing growth is a result of integrating superior air, ocean, and ground services, together with warehousing and distribution services to help our clients better manage their total logistics needs.

As a result of this growth we have an immediate opening for an ocean import freight forwarding professional. Responsibilities and duties will include but are not limited to providing clients with advice concerning terms of delivery and payment, insurance, services, or other matters affecting client needs. Prepares, issues and submits documentation to ensure proper importation of cargo. Prepares documents necessary to complete customs clearance processes. Arranges for deconsolidation of containers. Ensures invoicing of rendered services is completed accurately and in a timeframe consistent with company policy. Maintains knowledge and keeps clients informed of market trends and changes in service options. Minimum of 2 years experience is required.
