Order to Remittance (OTR) Specialist

CITY: TBA STATE: Illinois COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Act as a liaison between the sales force, customer and internal departments to ensure on-time delivery of equipment and execution of on-time and accurate billing and support of maintenance contracts for customers.
*Responsible for driving the overall execution of Order To Remittance (OTR) process (order entry, returns, changes, etc) for assigned regions.
*Work closely with sales force, professional service (ITPS) and manufacturing to provide direct customer and sales support for technical and process related issues.
*Approve customer and field orders for acceptance.
*Proactively resolve and escalate issues across functions regarding contract requirements, site readiness, material availability, etc. to meet customer commitments and orders, sales and receivables targets.
*Reconcile customer accounts and work with collections to meet receivables targets.
*Manage manufacturing and logistics schedules for on-time delivery of multi-sourced instrument and system orders.
*Leverage e-tools to support on-time delivery to customers and communication to the field.
*Create OTR processes to facilitate and support the integration of new products and businesses.
*Understand and follow IT quality system procedures that are applicable to the job.
*Continuously strive to improve Commercial Finance and Operations processes by utilizing Six Sigma principles.

Qualifications/Requirements:
*University Degree
*Mathematical and technical aptitude
*1 year experience in Customer Service and/or field support operations.
*Strong working knowledge of MS Office

Desired:
*Bachelors degree
*Familiarity with GEMS-IT products
*Familiarity with Oracle Business System
*Familiarity with Applix/Onix/Seibel CRM Systems
*Ability to function in a fast paces environment with multiple deadlines.
*Strong communication and multi-tasking skills
*Team player
