POSA Technician

Role & Responsibilities:
This person contributes to Coinstar's success by:
Responsible for programmingloading software, trouble-shooting, installing Verifone terminals and merchandising E-Pay products. Must also maintain strong relationships with assigned retailers.

Summary of key responsibilities:
Accountable for in-store activities that include, but are not limited to: installing POSA terminals, programming, conducting new and existing product plan-o-gram resets, placing Point-of-Purchases and Point-of-Sales, collecting data and fixtures and promotional display activities.
Complete regularly assigned administrative assignments including, but not limited to: creating reports on retail sales, developing standardized reports; mail, promotional materials, manuals, and plan-o-gram/schematics in order to support maintain retail accounts.
Must be willing to work a schedule that will vary with regard to hours and days to be worked to meet the needs of the business. Normal hours will probably fall Monday thru Friday, between 7am and 5pm, (some 6am starts).

Requirements of the POSA support position include:
HS diploma or equivalent
physically setting up displays, fixtures, and products
being able to tolerate exposure to store and warehouse conditions including wide variances in temperatures, dust and dirt
being able to lift 40-50 pounds with ease and dexterity
being able to work at various heights which may require bending at the waist and squatting frequently
spending approximately 30% of the day in car traveling to and from accounts safely in city, rural and expressway conditions
All candidates must have a valid driver's license and must provide proof of insurance.

Preferable Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience preferred
Experience as a route vendor is a plus.
Must possess excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently is required.

Must be able to work a schedule which may include nights and early morning hours.
Requires daily travel within the territory and occasional travel outside of territory.
Requires frequent public contact; must maintain a professional appearance.
