PROJECT COORDINATOR

This position is for the person who thrives working independently and takes ownership of their work. As an integral member of the contract department, this person will oversee all project management and sales activities and fully support the sales management team, as well as direct customer service in regards to specific projects. Duties include order entry, scheduling, order expediting, product recommendations, and assisting in the cross-over of competitive products. Extensive interaction with sales, customer service, purchasing, accounting and warehouse is required to ensure all projects proceed smoothly and on-chedule.

 

 

Experience with construction projects helpful, as well as a basic understanding of simple engineering drawings. Excellent communication (both verbal and written), interpersonal, organizational skills are a must.  Excel, word, and Outlook are required. Candidate must have the capability of multi-tasking with multiple deadlines. Autocad and photoshop a plus, but not required.  Project co-ordinator position is for those with limited experience and is a springboard to the project manager position. We will be willing to train and develop an enthusiastic person who possesses the rudimentary skills.

* Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Accuracy is a must!!!

* Construction Project Management, Electrical, or Lighting experience preferred.
