Call Center Associate

 Qualifications

The primary job of a Collections Risk Associate is to collect payments from past due customers.

Our Collections Associates are in an open cube environment spending up to 90% of their time on the phone while utilizing multiple computer applications to gather and document information.  Associates are held accountable to high performance, attendance and production standards, which include the amount of dollars collected and overall call quality.

Successful associates have:
  -  Self discipline and strong commitment to attendance.
  -  Prior collections experience.
  -  Effective communication skills.
  -  The ability to negotiate directly with end customers for a commitment to bring accounts current.
  -  The ability to be proactive with a high initiative for providing added value and one call resolution for the customer.
  -  The ability to be both an Individual and Team contributor.
  -  Solid computer/phone skills including working in a fast paced call center environment.

  -  Stable work history.

All new hires will be provided training on:

  -  COAF collections model and expectations.
  -  COAF call center tools.
  -  Production requirements.

As part of training, the associate must pass a certification process by demonstrating proficiency in collection skills through role plays, CBT tests, and direct interaction with customers as early as the first week of training with an experienced associate available for coaching.

 Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule

This position is part time.

Work Schedule:  Tuesday - Friday, 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M., and Saturday 9:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M.

Salary range:  $11.54 - 12.50 per hour, plus incentives

Prior collections experience is preferred, but not required.
