Strong verbal skills to effectively resolve billing inquiries, requests and problems.

The candidate should be able to maintain an organized work area to handle competing priorities in a fast paced call center environment.

WHAT IS THE COMPENSATION OPPORTUNITY?

At The Hartford, our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay competitive base salaries and we reward performance. The hourly rate for this position is $12.00-$13.00/hour. 

WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?

The Billing Representative's responsibilities include handling routine billing inquiries pertaining to account status, payment inquiries, billing changes and detailed research and problem resolution.

The Billing Representative will interact with internal and external customers providing accurate billing information.

He/she will process billing transactions and maintain customer information in the company systems.

The Billing Representative is accountable for achieving team and individual goals for quality and service standards in the call center environment.

WHAT ELSE CAN YOU TELL ME?

This position resides in our Southington campus in Southington, CT.  There is free and ample parking, with quick and easy access to both major interstates, I84 and I91. The Southington campus enjoys a smoke free, business casual environment. The Hartford has three full service cafeterias, an ATM machine, an on site medical facility, plus many more amenities.

The work hours are Monday - Friday 1:00pm - 5:00pm (20 hours/week).  There is one month of full time training required at the start of position.  The training work hours will be 8:30am-5:00pm or 9:00am-5:30pm.
