PayDay Advance Associate Houston South

Cash America International, a growing NYSE company, has an exciting opportunity with our Payday Advance Division. We are currently looking for Associates for our stores in South  and Southwest Houston and Missouri City, Texas.

 

 The minimum qualifications for this position are

 

?  1 ? 2 years experience in a customer service industry.

?  Cash-handling experience, preferably in a retail environment.

? Outgoing personality: friendly and helpful.

?  Computer literate.

?  Able to multi-task in a fast paced professional environment.

?  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

?  Excellent organizational and time management skills.

?  Solid work ethic.

?  Able to work nights until 7:00pm and Saturdays.

 The principal accountabilities are

 

? Explain the payday loan process to prospective customers.

? Assist customers in completing payday loan forms and applications.

? Verify application information by telephone with bank, employer, and verification service.

? Enter application data into computer system.

? Precisely issue cash to customers, and collect checks and cash upon redemption of loan.

? Answer customer questions and respond to complaints, both in person and over the phone.

? Contact customers via telephone to remind them payment is due and/or to attempt collection of funds from returned checks.
