Payroll Professional

Responsible for analyzing, auditing and reconciling payroll for a large and geographically dispersed ADP population. Works independently to meet strict compliance deadlines to effectively deliver timely and accurate payrolls. Utilizes payroll and system knowledge to administer policy and resolve issues. Effectively manages and integrates a high volume of data from multiple sources. Responds as a Client Service Representative to HR, Accounting and Associate inquiries regarding wage, hour, FLSA guidelines, payroll taxes, Enterprise eTime, eAssociate, benefits and ADP policy inquires ensuring a high level of quality and accuracy.

1. Provides payroll services for up to 900 associates (predicated upon complexity and frequency of payroll) utilizing automated technology from multiple sources, i.e., associate portal through the Internet, eTime, STARS and various upload files. Generates reports to analyze, audit and verify data, both prior to transmission and after receipt of the payroll output to ensure accuracy. Effectively applies payroll tax laws, wage and hour regulations, and ADP internal policies, as required. Reconciles all quarterly wage and tax reports and corrects any discrepancies prior to the issuance of W-2?s. Ensures compliance to the ADP wage increase policies.

2. Provides high quality of client service to associates located throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Researches and resolves all client issues within an acceptable time frame. Prepares and submits payroll audit summaries to the field and the Payroll Manager at least one day prior to pay date. Develops strong business relationships with Human Resources and Accounting to ensure an accurate and timely payroll and acts as a technical resource in the areas of wage and hour, 3rd party sick pay, benefits, cafeteria plans, liens and garnishments and NACHA regulations.

3. Utilizes a working knowledge of the payroll system workflow to maintain the synchronization and integrity of the Corporate, HRizon and Autopay databases. Troubleshoots basic payroll issues that arise from variances between the three databases.

4. Works effectively as a team member to ensure that all department deadlines are met and all payrolls assigned to team are released timely and accurately. Maintains a high level of payroll and tax knowledge to remain in compliance with payroll policies, regulations and procedures.



? Minimum of 2 years payroll processing experience required.
? Client service experience.
? Familiarity with ADP products i.e.; e-time, WGPS, ReportSmith preferred.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
? Ability to provide a high level of client service.
? Independently analyze and research issues and provide resolution through effective client interface and communication.
? Self directed, organized and able to meet strict deadlines.
? PC literate (Windows, e-mail, Excel, Word, HRizon, ReportSmith, Uploads, Interfaces).
? Ability to adapt quickly within a dynamic environment.
