Procedure Analyst

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Procedure Analyst position is within the Policy Holder Service Unit of Specialized Benefit Resources. Primary responsibilities include creating; maintaining and updating the master records for policies issued in conjunction with non-qualified executive benefit plans. The Procedure Analyst is also accountable for the application and reconciliation of premium payments. This position utilizes multiple administrative systems to perform the support of the pollicies and plans. The Procedure Analyst takes direction from other within SBR on complex issues. They interact with Client Executive, Associate Client Executives and the Senior PHS Analyst regularly.

 

 

Principal Responsibilities:

Support enterprise life insurance product lines and become familiar with various products utilized by SBR's distribution channels.

Process all daily new business (policy issuance), contractual policy changes (owner/benefit changes, surrender, withdrawals, loans) and payment (premium, loan repayments) transactions

Verify transactions processed correctly through various admin systems - review cycle output.

Distribute statements and setup of tracking spreadsheet for reporting.

Resolve and reconcile payment suspense issues

 

 

Required Competencies:

Knowledge of Life Insurance (variable a plus)

Customer Service Experience

Strong math skills

Knowledge of VTG system

Attention to detail

Ability to multitask

Strong organizational and prioritization skills
