Quotations Specialist
Eau Claire, WI  BranchPrincipal Function:Handling and support the daily operations in the quotations department of the Eau Claire Branch, providing quotes, customer sales and service support and all related services, meeting the goals and objectives set forth by the Branch Manager.
Essential Functions:
Work effectively as a team with J.H. Larson management and all J.H. Larson Company personnel. Maintain effective relationships with suppliers, and customers, promote and maintain the image and reputation of J.H> Larson Company, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving complaints as they arise.
  Participate in market planning and strategizing for J.H. Larson Company's product lines as requested. Participate in the implementation of marketing strategies as requested. Provide feedback on pricing, service, new products, quality, customer needs and competition to the appropriate departments within J.H. Larson Company. Participate and sales meetings and training as requested.
  Provide quotes, negotiate and close assigned projected jobs with accurate, on time and understandable prices and terms. Initiate customer contact and perform timely follow-up of inquires and quotation requests for assigned product lines. Assist customers in peripheral information regarding manufacturers, pricing, shipping requirements, etc. to encourage customers to utilize J.H. Larson's services. Oversee order entry, submittal, shipping, expediting and billing processes on project jobs. provide purchasing functions, product code descriptions, inventory levels, and related activities as assigned.
  Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales and gross profit objectives, working with J.H. Larson Company's sales and specialist departments, providing customer service including order entry, expediting, follow-up, and other sales tasks required. Develop quotations for customers within corporate profit objectives and guidelines. Inform the Branch Manager of in-house inventory discrepancies and unusually large orders. Provide accurate, timely information as requested.
  Assist customers in the Sales Display area as required. Advise customers of any special promotions currently available. Understand various pay methods available to customers, open account, cash, credit card. Assist with special delivery requirements, will calls, and advise shipping department and order filling personnel proper needs requested. Advise customers of any problems as they arise to resolve in an agreeable manner, such as back orders, inventory shortages, deliver problems, etc.
Qualifications: Experience in quotations of Switchgear, Electrical systems and customer service. Knowledge of office systems and Personal Computers. Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication abilities. Ability to effectively organize and prioritize. Salary commensurate with experience, full benefits package included.
