Description:
CREDIT REPRESENTATIVE (FINANCIAL SERVICES)
*This position will require that you are available to work a full-time schedule within the credit department operating hours of Monday-Saturday (7:00am-10pm)CST and Sunday (9am-8pm)CST.*

Basic Purpose: To process all new requests for service in a timely manner and perform duties assigned so as to support the goals and values of the Customer Financial Services Department and Verizon Wireless.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Process Manual Reviews and handle telephone calls in regards to credit applications from sales agents and/or sales support staff.
2. Maintain appropriate logs and reports as required.
3. Process business credit applications in a timely manner (turnaround time of less than 15 minutes)...including accessing web based products for ratings and by calling references in an attempt to find ways to provide service to the applicant.
4. Process personal credit applications in a timely manner (turnaround time of less than 2 minutes).
5. Interface positively with the markets by being courteous and supportive at all times.
6. Assist management in preparing all necessary reports.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors level degree preferred
- Excellent verbal skills and the ability to interact with various levels of Management.
- Strong customer service and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to make sound decisions.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimum supervision.
- Knowledge of credit processing and the ability to interpret credit bureau data is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Access and Excel.
Knowledge of E-Credit and RMS are a plus.
- Ability to work Holidays, Weekends, Evenings and/or a Split Schedule
