Repair/Technical Support Representative

Summary:

We are a telecommunication company currently looking for a repair/technical support representative for our Orlando call center. Successful candidates will have previous experience working in an environment which requires troubleshooting and diagnosing problems associated with a technical service. Current or past experience working with a telecommunications company or Internet Service Provider is highly desirable. Two weeks extensive training provided.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot local and long distance phone service.
Open and close repair tickets with local exchange carrier (LEC)
Update customer accounts
Work with different departments within the company. Requirements:1 year or more experience supporting customers in a call center environment
High School Diploma or GED
Basic personal computer skills required. Must be familiar with the Internet, Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong written/oral interpersonal communication
Strong trouble-shooting skills
Bilingual (fluent English/Spanish) is a strong plus
Bellsouth TAFI or Lens, SBC Toolbar or Verizon GUI experience is a plus
