Reservations Sales Agents

  NATURE & SCOPE :   Utilize sales skills to sell Holland America Line Cruises, Cruisetours and optionals. Be a knowledgeable resource for travel agents and consumers. Provide quality customer service on all calls. Maintain department's telephone service level goals.  Maintain/organize on a daily basis ? memos, flow charts, company policies, procedures, product information and promotional information for quick reference to provide accurate/timely answers to questions from travel agents or consumers.  Work on any special projects as directed by the Supervisor or Manager of Reservations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

?  High school degree or GED required.

?  Qualified applicants will have 1-year minimum sales, customer service or office experience including heavy customer contact via telephone in a fast-paced environment.

?  Typing 25 WPM required.

?  Prior PC experience

?  Excellent communication and listening skills required.

?  Must be flexible to work varied shifts including weekends and some holidays based on business needs.

?  Superior customer service skills required.

?  Ability to work independently in a demanding environment.
