Sales Support Specialist/Customer Service Representative

We are  currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Support Specialist to serve our customer in the Springfield, NJ Sales Office.  This position will be responsible for the following:

 

Key Job Duties:

 

Book of Business Setup and AnalysisDetermines the best type of product, production method, and resulting price for customer use.

 

Inventory ManagementDetermines correct inventory levels and timely reorder points, and makes reorder decision accordingly.

 

Order Process CoordinationDetermines when to engage sales and design resources in the reorder process. Responsible for the timely release of inventoried product or stock items per client specifications

 

Order ProcessingEnter quotes, orders or requisitions per client specifications Follow up or inquire about the status of any transactional activity on a timely basis Effectively communicate key transactional information back to internal and external customers Effectively respond to and resolve any exceptions to a transaction Escalate potential issues on a timely basis to management to insure smooth delivery of product Responsible for the quality, completeness and cycle time of all order entry activity submissions from internal and external customers

 

OtherDetermines actions and resolutions on customer quality issues. Responsible for timely follow-up and resolution of any transactional questions or issues Responsible for performing consistently to the Customer Service Level Agreement Responsible for asset management within their assignment (A/R, Storage, Invoicing etc.) and any customer communication this implies. Coordinates pricing database with the customer. Responsible for contract reporting (PPR) for reorder business Strong relationship building and communication skills Attention to detail, accuracy, and sense of urgency. Strong follow-up skills Creative problem solving. Strong PC skills: Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Network, Customer1 (Siebel) and other SRC systems Excellent math skills for reorder points, units of issue, PPR, etc. Negotiation skills (for price, delivery dates, etc.) Ability to quickly learn and comprehend new systems. Excellent prioritization skills; self directed and well organized Good project management skills (i.e. conversions) Ability to work in an on-site customer?s environment under pressure. Document Management Industry experience. Includes product, pricing, and process knowledge Previous customer service and/or order processing experience desired. Inventory Management experience preferred Some college coursework and/or graduation desired: high school diploma minimum. Understanding of components of a customer contract. Vertical market knowledge (i.e. financial, health care, etc.) preferred Printing Industry experience is definitely a plus
