Senior Manager, eBay Motors

Description: The Senior Manager for Motors Dealer Acquisition and Activation will be responsible for providing strategic and operational direction to the Motors Sales and Service Center. This person will manage a team of managers and supervisors leading the following teams;

New Dealer Acquisition (NDA) reps, tasked with proactively contacting marketing-generated warm leads and taking inbound calls from leads with the goal of getting them registered on eBay as a vehicle seller. NDA activities will include selling new dealers on eBay's value propositions, selling additional cost services, and preparing them to begin listing.

Dealer Consultants (DC), Account Managers responsible for proactively assisting newly registered dealers with the goals of activation, activity growth, and retention.

Motors Top Seller Account Managers and Parts and Accessories Account Managers responsible for servicing, consulting with and proactively managing larger dealers as well as parts and accessory seller accounts. Activities include assisting with all servicing needs, billing inquiries and adherence with Trust and Safety policies.

Responsibilities also include:
o Providing leadership and strategic direction to teams.
o Day-to-day personnel management, hiring, pay plan implementation, quality control over reporting in CRM system and customer support, productivity, and sales success.
o Regularly reporting to the eBay Motors category management teams so that marketing activities can be modified to ensure optimum effectiveness.

Qualifications:
o Proven experience managing teams in a sales environment.
o Proven sales record or track record in building and growing strategic relationships.
o Excellent analytical skills; comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Access and CRM tools.
o Strong verbal and written communication skills.
o Flexible, and ability to multi-task.
o Results-oriented team player.
o Strong working knowledge of the eBay site and experience with buying or selling.
o Knowledge of automobile industry and/or auto dealer business a plus.
o Strong attention to details and good follow-through.
o Enthusiastic and energetic individual.
o BA/BS Required, MBA Preferred.
o 7+ years work experience in sales or customer relations management.
o Familiarity with Web-based technology.
