We are looking for a Service Dispatcher to help us continue our success!
JOB SUMMARY:
This position involves dispatching and clerical work along with operating communication instruments and coordinating service technicians? schedules. Answers telephone and provides information/assistance or routes caller to appropriate staff member. Receives service requests from customers by telephone, fax and e-mail. Logs in service orders and relays information to customers. Contacts technician with assignment and provides them with necessary information. Customer contact is a prime responsibility!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
? Answers multi line telephone and provides information/assistance or
routes caller to appropriate staff member.
? Ascertains customer?s needs, verifying data using computer to retrieve
customer information. Prioritizes call relays, and/or transmits
necessary information to appropriate technicians. Achieves and maintains
rapport with customers and works to give them the best possible service.
? Maintains contact with technicians in order to close orders that are
completed and to keep customer current on status. Reschedule service
calls when needed.
? Makes quotes for new customers, provides them with information to set up
account. May refer account to Director of Sales if necessary.
? Matches completed service call paperwork with computer print out,
verifies data input for errors.
? Handles the needs of service technicians and customers regardless of
sales district.
? Faxes next day?s schedules to all service technicians.
REQUIREMENTS:
2 to 3 years in a Dispatch/Call Center environment is required.
Must have knowledge of Windows.
Excellent communication/customer service skills.
Multitasking is a must!
