We are currently searching for a SKIP TRACER/ASSET LOCATOR to join the team at our corporate headquarters in Hawthorn, NY.

General Duties:Ability to read credit reportsEnsures all FDCPA and CFDCPA are adhered to at all timesEnsure all Privacy Laws and FCRA are adhered to at all timesAchieves and maintains Team and individual production Standards and Goals within the departmentLocates assets such as bank accounts, place of employment for attachment and enforcement through the Judicial SystemAssists with any projects the department manager requestMaintains all individual production logs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentPrefer 1-3 years experience in skip tracing and asset locationKnowledge of federal and state collection laws (FDCPA & FCRA)Proficient in MS Excel, Word and OutlookStrong communication skillsMust be detail orientedCollections experience a plus

Ideal candidate will have familiarity with the following databases: Accurint, Westlaw, Lexis/Nexis, Merlin Data, Pacer/Racer, Data Quick, Fast Web and others.
