Description:

The PSR is responsible for taking inbound calls and making outbound calls related to setting up specialty medication orders. The PSR will work with medical providers, customers, and other pharmacy staff to ensure patients receive their specialty medication in a timely manner. This position will work a 10am-7pm shift Monday through Friday.

 

Qualifications:

Candidates for this position must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, intermediate or above computer skills, and the ability to prioritize and make prudent decisions based on information provided. Candidates should have a basic knowledge of prescriptions.

 

Education:

High School education or GED required.

 

Experience:

Candidates for this position should have two or more years experience working in a pharmacy, physician's office, hospital, insurance company in a similar role. Previous experience as a certified pharmacy technician is highly preferred.
