Sr Assoc Tech Support Engr

Responsibilities:
Provide prompt, accurate, and appropriate telephone support to internal and external Customers on Diabetes Care Division products. Actively contribute as member of Technical Customer Services team. Act as department "lead" on meter interface programs. As such, share technical knowledge with rest of team and with headquarters. Document and communicate customer complaints within Bayer regulatory guidelines. Follow departmental and division procedures and guidelines including utilizing tools such as Complaint & Inquiry systems and Microsoft Office programs.

Travel required. Provide onsite Diabetes Sales Specialist support on request. Demonstrate Diabetes Care systems and software at meetings and trade shows on request.

Skills:
Excellent telephone customer handling and interpersonal skills. Ability to troubleshoot, resolve, and document technical issues. Technical knowledge of software and thorough understanding of Diabetes Care Systems preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, serial ports, and Universal Serial Bus configuration. Networking experience helpful.

Education & Typical Experience:
Typical education would be a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with 3 - 6 yrs. experience.
