Svc Call Tech

Overview : Full-Time, M-F, 7:30am-4:00pm. *Customer service skills, knowledge of light plumbing repair, waste water drain systems and light duty building maintenance skills a must.*

*Experience in health care environment a plus. Knowledge of heating and ventilating systems a plus.*

Responsibilities :

The Service Call Technician responds to incidental maintenance calls on various systems of the physical plant and equipment, and performs additional duties as requested by Lead, Supervisor or Director of Plant Operations. The Technician also performs these functions for various areas and specialties of Fairbanks Memorial Hospital/Denali Center which may be off campus. This position will receive training to provide assistance and/or relief to Operations Technicians.

Qualifications :

Two years of experience in related fields of trade. Must have or obtain within one and one-half years a Third Class Stationary Boiler Operator's license from the State of Alaska, then work towards obtaining a Second Class Stationary Boiler Operator's license. Must possess valid Alaska driver's license.
