Switchboard Operator

Job Summary: Personalized telephone answering, voice mail, and other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

1. This position answers incoming calls for over 500 associates. Our software allows our telephone operator to answer each incoming call with a custom greeting. Our voice mail system is among the most sophisticated available. Each incoming call will have to be forwarded to the appropriate employee per the caller?s request.

2. Handling busy switchboard:
General inquires.
Connect call to extension, announce call, and send it to voice mail, etc.

3. Must be able to quickly learn the latest technology and software for efficient telephone answering.

4. Must be fast-paced, upbeat, professional, and able to multi-task.

5. Computer skills and typing a must.

6. Must utilize proper telephone etiquette and high level of customer service skills are required.

7. Print, sort and distribute daily agent performance, production, and other reports as needed.

Qualification Guidelines:

1. High School Diploma.
2. Prefer 3 ? 5 years relevant work experience.
3. Computer literate.
