Systems Manager

Manage a team of professional IT systems support associates focused on implementing best-in-class business processes and system tools to support overall Distribution and Customer Service strategies.  This role works closely with Operations Management, Corporate IT, Nike?s COE team and other functional groups to ensure cross-functional alignment and prioritization of projects. Responsible for managing monthly MARC user acceptance testing cycles for the Operations team.  Manages all network related hardware, projects and interfaces with third parties such as MARC and SAP. Maintains and drives changes to the Operations IT Roadmap.

Manage IT system resources to effectively support Operations and company initiatives. Maintain Network and Systems hardware including PC/s and RF equipment.

Keep Operations Sr. Management staff abreast of overall systems issues and schedules, providing mitigation plans to promptly resolve roadblocks.

Close interface with Corporate IT and NIKE COE team on system performance and scheduling of monthly and quarter end support activities

Be part of the team to work on the development of new processes and tools to support supply chain changes, new product introductions and corporate initiatives.

Must be expert at motivating team members in assuming full ownership for successful completion of goals, and in anticipating and resolving issues without negatively impacting operational schedules.  Strong communication skills.

Must be forward thinking, creative, solution focused and possess the ability to execute.  Create metrics to measure department efficiency and effectiveness.
