Technical Support Consultant

Our Technical Support Center is looking for qualified individuals to provide prompt accurate technical support over the telephone to customers and internal business partners while achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction. Maintain a high level of technical expertise supporting Bayer Diagnostics products and systems in the areas of Lab Testing, Molecular testing and Near Patient Testing. Assist in coordinating team activity to develop plans with Bayer Diagnostic counterparts resolving customer technical issues. Responsible for execution of agreed upon plans to achieve a consistent response to our customers. Document and communicate complaints within Bayer Diagnostic regulatory guidelines. Interaction with next level of support through appropriate escalation of customer issues to obtain prompt resolutions. Provide communication of customer account activity to field teams in order to achieve customer satisfaction.

Specific skills include aadvanced customer and interpersonal skills. Experience working with hospital laboratory instrumentation, maintenance, troubleshooting and quality control is desired. Computer experience with Microsoft Office or LIS is a plus.

This position does required  Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry or Medical Technology.
