Technical Support Representatives (July 21st Start Date)
Full-time.
Hours will vary with either days or 2nd type hours. ?Will also include one weekend day.
Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for providing competent, and customer-focused technical support of Cable TV, High Speed Data and Digital Phone for customers throughout the Central Texas area. All technical support is conducted via telephone in a high-volume call center environment.The scope of technical support will include tier 1 to tier 3 support which ranges from basic connection issues to troubleshooting various cable boxes, roadrunner issues and Digital Phone services. The position will also include additional duties as assigned.
Requirements for this position include a high school diploma or equivalent, must have at least 6 months to one year of troubleshooting or technical support experience plus one year of direct customer service experience (face-to-face or phone support). Also required are typing proficiency, PC literacy, strong verbal communication skills, and the ability to problem-solve and think logically.Desired qualifications: A+ and MCP certifications. Previous call center experience a plus. Desire to work in fast paced, rapidly evolving environment. Have the ability to work with minimal direction, as a team member or alone. Familiarity with Microsoft and Macintosh Operating systems at the end user level. Adaptable to flexible schedules based on call center needs. Previous experience with HDTV; Digital Video Recorders and Home theatre also a plus. Candidates who reside in a Time Warner Cable service area are desirable.
The start date for the position is July 21, 2006.
POSITION WILL INCLUDE WEEKEND SHIFT and POSSIBLY EVENING HOURS. Shift differential is paid for 3rd shift hours, and all day Sunday.
