Telemarketer

The Learning Annex, one of Inc. 500 fastest growing companies, will be conducting three open house events at our headquarters located at 48 West 37th Street in Manhattan (Between 5th and 6th). The open houses will be held on the following dates and times:

Monday, 8/14/2006 10 a.m. ? 3 p.m.

Wednesday, 8/16/2006 10 a.m. ? 3 p.m.

Friday, 8/18/2006 6 p.m. ? 8 p.m.

Qualified candidates will be hired on the spot and will start the following day if available.

We will be hiring for the following shifts:

Full-Time

Days: Mon-Fri

Hours: 10 a.m. ? 6 p.m.

Part Time Hours

Days: Mon ? Fri

Hours: 10 a.m. ? 2 p.m. or 3 a.m. ? 7 p.m.

Compensation:

$10.00 hour + Commissions + Bonuses

Responsibilities

? Minimum 1 year telemarketing experience

? Conduct outgoing target cold calls

? Document and report on all lead/opportunity activities

? Develop and maintain knowledge of Learning Annex Expo?s

? must have telemarketing experience

? must be reliable

? Perform at least 150 outbound calls a day

Qualifications:

? Excellent telephone and customer service skills

? 1 Year experience

? Previous experience with inside sales roles/ tele-prospecting

? Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

? Energetic, can-do attitude is essential

? Team-oriented

? Competitive spirit a must

? Prior experience working as a telemarketer/account rep., dialing a large number of outside companies daily a definite plus
