ASSISTANT JOB DEVELOPER

 



Under the general supervision of the Transition and Adult Services Director, will plan, implement and coordinate individual consumer programs in the area of job seeking and job placement. Will form partnerships between employers in the community, the Department of Rehabilitation, the consumer and IRL to assure successful paid employment for individuals with disabilities. Will assess individual consumer progress in accordance with their Individual Work Plan, and will keep accurate records of such. Will oversee job coach positions and will schedule their assignments with consumers. This is a full-time salaried position in exempt status.

BA degree and three years experience in vocational/rehabilitation, social services or a related field, or be currently enrolled in a college program toward a BA degree or have extensive experience in a related field and demonstrate exemplary skills in consumer/employer relationships and job development techniques.

Experienced and skilled in working with individuals with developmental, learning, and emotional disabilities. Proven expertise in supervision of consumers and staff.
