Primary Function/Purpose of Position:

Retention of total enrollment population.? Coordination of student academic progression upon receipt of completed admissions application, including but not limited to student data management, course registration, student communication via phone and email correspondence.? Work with students to complete degree path using Registrar evaluations.? Responsible for retention and re-entry of student case load.? Responsible for maintaining C2K student data integrity and monitoring student attendance and grades.? Follow operating policies and exercise independent judgment in resolution of student issues. Ability to forecast potential group size, student and facility issues before conflict arises.? Work with Student Service Team members in an effective and professional manner to assist with student admission policies.? Work effectively and cohesively with Enrollment Advisors, Financial Services Representatives and Student Services Trainer to maximize operational effectiveness.? Understand overall goals and vision of Ashford University.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

????????? Student case load management ? Retention, Progression, Reentry, and Completion

????????? Management of data integrity: demographic, course registration, communication history, etc.?

????????? Develop rapport and constructive working relationships with student case load

????????? Correspond via phone and email with students on a regular basis to ensure student retention

????????? Evaluate student requests, identify issues and determine appropriate means for resolution

????????? Define and interpret Ashford University policies and procedures for students

????????? Develop rapport and constructive working relationships with Student Service Team members

????????? Work closely with Enrollment Advisors to assure required admissions documents received

????????? Work closely with Financial Services Representatives to ensure financial option compliance

????????? Work closely with Registrar Assistants to ensure accurate degree audit and completion

????????? Assess Registrar evaluation to develop appropriate degree completion path and degree audit

????????? Management of integrity and security of all student records

????????? Adherence to all Ashford University and external regulatory agency policies and procedures

????????? Understand and update C2K consistently

????????? Query C2K reports as necessary and provide accurate reporting

????????? Closely monitor student attendance and grades in C2K to assure retention and progression

????????? Assist in training of new hires and group training facilitation

????????? Communicate ideas for policy and procedure improvements that create greater efficiency

????????? Continually uphold the mission and strategic objectives of Ashford University

?

Software Knowledge:

????????? Proficient in Microsoft? Office Word?, Excel?, Outlook?, and Powerpoint? applications

????????? Proficient in database contact management applications and contact management strategies

?

Prior Academic Experience preferred by not required.
