Job Summary:
The Curriculum Management Specialist provides management of client curriculum. This role is responsible for deploying curriculum, creating learning programs to support client needs, managing the lifecycle of curriculum as well as maintaining and communicating curriculum related processes. The candidate will manage and prioritize multiple requests based on client commitments. The Curriculum Management Specialist will apply the general understanding of the learning programs to support the client?s business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage customer experience with Avaya Learning Centre Curriculum
?Create and maintain curriculum maps
?Ensure the course catalog and curriculum maps reflect current, accurate information
?Provide client demonstrations and client communications
?Collect client feedback on usability of Avaya Learning Centre to improve learner experiences
Conduct curriculum impact analysis
?Analyze Preliminary Learning Briefs to assess fit of new courses into curriculum and catalog structure
?Identify the need for curriculum transition, migration and communication plans
?Create / provide input on those transition, migration and communication plans
?Attend integration / client meetings to provide advise / consultation on curriculum related issues and to raise client awareness of the impact of proposed changes
?Provide lifecycle management of courses to the curriculum / catalog
Complete course deployments and update or establish credential programs
?Work with Development and Applications Management to deploy courses into the LMS
?Work with client to price courses accordingly using client pricing tools
?Establish and maintain credential programs in the LMS
?Monitor course deployments against schedules
?Manage course number assignments
?Validate deployments have been successfully implemented
Manage and maintain curriculum
?Analyze course change requests for curriculum impact
?Periodically audit LMS and initiate clean-up activities as appropriate such as quality of course descriptions, job function assignment, course name / numbering, catalog assignment, etc.
?Perform administrative support for curriculum-related tools
?Maintain curriculum procedures and standards guide
Develop and implement curriculum processes
?Work with CDCOE Process lead to define /refine curriculum related processes such as course retirement, course change request, course setup quality check, etc.
?Coordinate educational opportunities for internal teams on curriculum related topics
Relationships:
Reports to: Business Interlock Operations Manager
Supervises: Client Services Support Senior Analysts
External Relationships: CDCOE, Delivery, Helpdesk, BI, Certification, Client, Applications
Qualifications
Education:
?BA/BS - Prefer degree in Instructional Design, Cognitive Psychology, English, Technical Writing, Communications, related field or equivalent experience.
Work Experience:
?1-2 years of technical writing or curriculum development experience or related field
?2 years of editing experience or related field
?1-2 years experince with Learning Management System (LMS) administration
Work Requirements:
?Periodic OT (10-15%)
Knowledge/Skills Requirements:
?2-4 years functional knowledge and expertise with a Learning Management System (LMS)
?2-4 years experience and solid knowledge of instructional design techniques, adult learning theory, and web-based development tools
?2-4 years knowledge of and practice with several instructional approaches (web-based, instructor-led, or virtual instructor-led training)
