Accreditation Specialist

Accreditation compliance is critical to our business at Kaplan Higher Education.  Our Accreditation Team is continually monitoring and ensuring that we meet all standards.  As an Accreditation Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring company compliance with all areas of state rules and accrediting standards.  You will work in our headquarters office in suburban Atlanta (Roswell, GA) and report to the Accreditation Team Leader.

What you will do:

 

?  Develop and facilitate training for college and home office personnel

?  Implement state and accreditation rules and regulations

?  Review state and accreditation correspondence to ensure material completeness prior to submission

?  Create and maintain relationships with state and accrediting organizations

?  Review and interpret rules, regulations, and laws

?  Develop and implement procedures

?  Coordinate activities with the college campus staff in support of the state and accrediting review process.

 

 

Skills and experience you will need:

 

?  Bachelor?s degree (Master?s degree preferred)

?  5 years experience in private, postsecondary education, preferably in Accreditation, Academics, or Federal Student Financial Aid

?  Attention to detail

?  Persuasive communication skills

?  Strong customer service

?  Possess great organization skills

?  Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
