Adjunct Faculty - English

We are seeking part time faculty to teach English Courses at our Portland, Orgeon Center for the Fall semester, beginning the end of October 2006.

 

Local candidates are strongly preferred, as there is no relocation assistance available.

 

ENGL-135 Advanced Composition

 

This course builds on the conventions and techniques of composition through critical reading requirements and longer, more sophisticated essays, including a documented library research paper. 4 credit hours.

 

We also may have openings for other English and Speech courses (ENGL 112, ENGL 227 and SPCH 275)

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 Master?s Degree in a related area from an accredited institution required; Ph.D is strongly preferred. Related industry experience (2 years) preferred; College Level teaching experience preferred. (2 years); Excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
