Adjunct Instructor

Lansdale School of Business, an 88 year-old private business school, located in North Wales, PA, is accepting applications for adjunct instructors in several disciplines. The ideal candidate would be able to teach classes on an as-needed basis.  Currently there are classes available for language arts and computer technologies instructors for the fall term. For the right candidate(s) this could lead to a permanent position teaching in both the day and evening divisions across several disciplines. 

 

Language Arts to instruct students in English fundamentals, written communication, study skills, and speech communications. 

 

General Education to teach general educations courses such as geography,
environmental science, psychology and economics.

 

Business Administration to teach business classes such as
marketing principles, business law, salesmanship and

small business management.

 

Computer Technologies to teach computer graphics courses, introduction to networking and some Microsoft Office applications.

 

Allied Health to teach occasional day and/or evening classes such as administrative medical office, health and wellness and fundamentals of healthcare.

 

Initial requirements:

?  The ideal candidate will have a Master?s degree; Bachelor?s degree considered with appropriate work experience. 

?  Sealed official transcripts.

?  All official certifications and required licensures to teach content area.

?  Documented expertise in academic subject area.

?  Excellent written and oral communications skills.

?  Knowledge of basic computer application skills.

?  Letters of reference upon request
