The Kaplan K12 Learning Services division recently forged an important alliance with many New York City public schools; we now provide FREE, high-quality instructional programs to thousands of underserved students each year. Kaplan K12's Supplemental Educational Services (SES) places talented instructors into classrooms city-wide to teach valuable Math and English Language Arts lessons. Our curriculum is specifically designed to reinforce foundational skills and bolster assessment performance.

We are now hiring part-time site coordinators for schools in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan. The Site Coordinator is the primary Kaplan representative for our after-school programs. This highly visible employee is our liaison with the school administration and the focal point for interactions with Kaplan instructors. Each class day presents opportunities to manage staff and materials, build relationships with school administration, teachers, and students, and keep control in a fast-paced learning environment. The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to improvise under pressure.

Position qualifications include:

o Excellent communication and organizational skills
o Experience managing a team of dedicated employees
o Experience teaching or organizing programs for school-aged children
o High energy and a sincere desire to improve young lives
o Foreign language skills a plus
