Bright Futures works with Title One schools that are in Need of Improvement. We administer after-school tutorial programs for underprivileged students to help improve achievement on their end of year tests. We have had great success in the Carolinas and California.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Field Support provides a variety of supportive services as directed by the Regional Director of Supplemental Services.  These services are and not limited to the following:

 

1. Attend provider fairs and present information about the program to parents, school staff and administrators within each district.

2. Assist with establishing and maintaining a strategic direction for the program to accomplish objectives.

3. Aid in recruiting, training and managing staff engaged in administering the program.

4. Help deliver kits to each school and maintains accurate inventory list. Travel required between Daytona Beach and Palm Beach County.

5. Assist with obtaining accurate records of staff within each school with current address, phone number(s), etc. as well as W-9 forms and contracts.

6. Train and support teachers to maintain accurate and appropriate records of teacher and parent contact, testing data, and documentation of parent reports sent home after each session, etc.

7. Coordinate program details with school and district administration as well as teachers.

8. Help ensure performance measures for the program are met; monitor performance; guide staff in making adjustments to the program to ensure that goals are achieved.

9. Give support to and provide advice and assistance to teachers when needed.

10. Help foster a working environment conducive to positive morale, quality, creativity, and teamwork.

11.  Aid in sending all reports to regional office of Bright Futures Learning Center within pre-established deadlines.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Communicate effectively (orally and in writing).

2. Demonstrate good analytical and problem-solving skills.

3. Demonstrate knowledge of data gathering techniques.

4. Demonstrate knowledge of planning, records management, and general administration of the program.

5. Identify and articulate non-compliance with strategies/procedures of the program.

6. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and associates.

7. Demonstrate the ability to present/communicate effectively in front of an audience.

8. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

9. Basic knowledge or experience in the teaching of reading to children grades K-8.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in education, business, or marketing. Three or more years of professional related experience Or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
