Anesthesia Care Clinical Applications Specialist

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
*Be fully competent in the application and operation of all GE Healthcare anesthesia products.
*Work closely with the sales organization to clinically support GE Healthcare customers in pre-sales and post-sales situations.
*Assist service organization in determining if equipment problems are clinical or technical in nature and communicating this to the proper parties.
*Actively participate in regional sales meetings to update sales personnel on product and application issues.
*Support all relevant professional trade meetings/shows.
*Work closely with the Project Manager and the service organization to coordinate training events at the assigned customer installation site.
*Actively participate in the development of customer training tools and provide input in regards to relevant clinical tools needed for future products and services.
*Communicate all relevant customer information including product and/or customer problems or opportunities to field sales, marketing, customer response system and technical support.
*Provide timely and complete reports of activity as required.
*Maintain all assets (i.e. demo instruments, vehicles, etc.) in good condition and properly document and report all activity.

Qualifications/Requirements:
*BA/BS Degree preferred.
*Formal Respiratory Therapy education required.
*Specialty in anesthesia or practical experience in OR anesthesia preferred.
*Registered Respiratory Therapist required.
*The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and clinical background, complimented by excellent communication skills.
*The position requires 60% travel.
