Application Trainer

Classroom trainers needed for the implementation of a new Child Welfare Information System for the state of Ohio. 

 

Training rollout is expected to begin in Sept/October of 2006 and is expected to be completed in June/July of 2007. 

 

We are actively seeking trainers in the following Ohio cities: Columbus, Akron, Cincinnati, and Bowling Green.

 

Desired Trainer Credentials

 

1)  Bachelors degree in Education or a related field

2)  Minimum of two years experience in classroom technical training of adults

3)  Strong background in computers and software applications ? ?quick study?

4)  Excellent communication and people skills

 

Compensation

 

$15/hr - $22/hr, depending on experience

 

Additional Information

 

1)  All trainers must attend a two week paid train-the-trainer workshop prior to conducting classroom training. 

2)  Trainers will deliver three separate class types:  End User Training (2 days), Managers Training (1 day), and Super User Training (4 days).

4)  All classes will consist of a combination of lecture presented by the trainer and classroom exercises performed by the students with assistance from the trainer.

5)  In general, two trainers will be assigned to a class of 18 students. 

6)  In general, each training class will begin at 8:30 am and be completed at 4:00 pm.  One hour is provided for lunch.  Trainer days will include preparation and debriefing time (generally 8 am ? 5 pm).

8)Trainers will be reimbursed for travel expenses in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.
