Assistant Director of Marketing & Outreach

The Company also authors more than 200 print and software titles on test preparation, college and graduate school selection and admissions, and related topics.

 

Description:

The Princeton Review is seeking an Assistant Director of Marketing and Outreach for its Chicago location.  The ideal candidate will be extremely self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and dedicated. This person will be a key player in marketing our high school and grad courses to the Chicago land and Great Plains region.  The Assistant Director of Marketing will work hand-in-hand with high schools, universities, student groups and corporations to build our market share in this region. The Assistant Director will also work closely with the Director of Marketing in thinking outside the box to help create unique and successful marketing initiatives that can be used locally and at our Great Plains sites.

 Assist Marketing Director in carrying out all National and Local marketing initiatives in a timely fashionCoordinate campus events to include practice tests, strategy sessions, etcCoordinate all mailings to prospective studentsCompose, send and respond to all email communications with prospective studentsManage the supply and distribution of all marketing collateralCompose and send out press releases for high school, college, and local publicationsResearch and target areas for growth in all test types

 

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be bright, responsible, and adaptable; boast superior communications and organizational skills, possess a strong work ethic and show meticulous attention to detail and be able to manage and balance a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced hectic environment under tight time constraints. This opportunity is a perfect entry level job for someone looking to get into marketing!

Requirements: Bachelor's degree; excellent writing skills; advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and the web; marketing or advertising background preferred but not required.
