Assistant Professor
Dept: Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences
The Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences at Rush University, College of Health Sciences, seeks a full-time Assistant Professor. The successful applicant will be expected to teach Microbiology, Immunology and/or Molecular Diagnostics as well as Research methods in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. Faculty in the CLS department is also expected to participate in both medical and nursing student teaching. Research is encouraged as well as active participation in the professional societies. Rush follows a practitioner-teacher model which requires that all faculty members perform some clinical duties in Rush Medical Laboratories.

Education/Special Skills Required: Applicant must have a PH.D. Degree, national certification of either MT (ASCP) or CLS (NCA), and a minimum of five years didactic and clinical teaching experience.
