Assistant to the Asst Vice President,Campus Planning & Design

Description:
Office of VP Campus Planning & Real Estate. Manage office and business operations and activities for the Assistant Vice President for Campus Planning and Design. Manage the AVP's calendar and prioritize meetings and appointments; determine when to respond to inquiries on behalf of the AVP and when to draft communications for AVP's signature. Provide administrative support to the office of the Campus Planning and Design. Analyze a variety of institutional data and prepare summaries and recommendations for the AVP; conduct research on a myriad of topics and synthesize and summarize information for the AVP to facilitate decision making.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 2 to 3 years' experience supporting an executive in a corporate setting or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Ability to take initiative and manage a variety of tasks and projects simultaneously. Ability act in a professional and confidential manner with all levels of employees and outside groups and effectively respond to simultaneous requests and projects. Ability to manage budgets. Knowledge of advanced functions for MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint). Experience working in a design-related field or educational institution preferred.
