ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF ADMISSIONS ? High School
In the Director of Admissions absence, attend management meetings, and/or act as director as assigned-e.g., oversee staff, advertising, and recruiting efforts.
Responsibilities:
Actively recruit and enroll students who meet the college admissions criteria and can benefit from the academic program provided. Acquires and maintains knowledge and understanding of the objectives, requirements, and content of all programs of study offered by the University, as well as knowledge and understanding of tuition and fee schedules, refund policy, payment plans. Acquires and maintains knowledge and understanding of sources and types of student financial aid and follows the ethical limitations for the discussion of financial aid. Pursues inquires from prospective students by providing factual information regarding the college and assisting prospective students in the admission process. Conducts personal interviews of prospective students for the purpose of describing college programs, assisting the prospective students? post-secondary educational needs, and enrolling prospective students if these needs can be served by the University.
Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree desired or equivalent work experience along with one to three years sales/recruitment in High School to College Admissions experience. Demonstrated effective leadership including team management skills. Requires aptitude for coaching and assisting the growth and development of individual Admission team members. Excellent presentation, communications and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of the educational environment and how training and education relates to the job market. Effective time management skills.
