Associate Manager, E-Learning

Description: -Scope: This new position, Associate Manager E-Learning, reports to the Manager, New Product and E-Learning in Global Learning and Development. This role will lead the development of on-line learning resources to support all learning needs of in-line products and blended distance learning programs. Also, this role will support all L&D metrics and measurement initiatives and the Learning Management System (LMS).

Principle Job Duties:

E-Learning
- Develop PAH web-based infrastructure to enable hosting of web-based learning solutions.
- Apply a systematic methodology to the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of E-learning programs.
- Develop scope, learning objectives and behavioral objectives for each distance learning program.
- Form stakeholder review teams to evaluate approach and concepts to distance learning.
- Develop standards for all metrics and measurements of programs and departmental effectiveness.
- Develop departmental quarterly report that summarizes all L&D activities, outcomes, and effectiveness.
- Coordinate with select vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality, cost-effective curricular materials.
- Develop in-house capabilities to develop short, focused web-based training programs to support 'just-in-time' learning needs of all business units.

Qualifications:
Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree; Adult Education, Science, or Technical Field
- Five years experience designing, developing, and delivering instructional programs of a scientific and technical nature
- Excellent computer skills and capability to develop web-based training in one or more programs or formats.
- Demonstrated ability to interface effectively at all levels of an organization to organize events, learning programs, or to develop learning materials to support products, product launches, or to sustain knowledge in a large business or organization
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, computer and technical skills
- Excellent organizational skills, project management experience, time and relation management capabilities, and vendor management are essential

Preferred Qualifications:

- Advanced degree in areas of adult learning, or advanced experience in instructional design, metric development
- Advanced degree in medical or veterinary sciences, microbiology, parasitology, or related science fields
- Experience as a technical writer, technical publisher, or producer of technical presentations, newsletters or other publications
- Excellent public speaking skills
- Knowledge and experience with alternative delivery methods, audio programs, CBT and web-based learning, learning management systems
- Pharmaceutical industry experience, human or animal, previous sales or technical experience

Masters

Majors Preferred
Education, Life Science, Medical or Veterinary fields
