Automotive Subject Matter Expert
Job Description: Raytheon Professional Services is looking for a Lead Automotive Subject Matter Expert for the Raytheon Automotive Technical College (RATC). Duties include but are not limited to:
Perform courseware review for technical accuracy
Provide information on new automotive technologies
Act as mentor to RATC Subject Matter Experts
Interface with customer(s) to ensure customer satisfaction
Coordinate Instructor Led Training (ILT) development
Procure resources needed for courseware development
Provide technical support in customer meetings
Interface with industry associations
Required skills:
Minimum of four years experience as an automotive technician
ASE certified
Experience in curriculum development
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent communication both written and verbal
Proficient in MS Office
Ability to apply critical thinking
Thorough understanding of automotive industry trends including aftermarket
Leadership experience
Independent/aftermarket automotive repair facility management experience
Desired skills:
Master ASE certified
Instructor experience
Required Education:
Bachelors of Science in Automotive Technology/Management or eight years of experience encompassing automotive technician, automotive repair facility management, and automotive corporate environment
