We have an immediate opening for a Business Training Specialist.  Business Training, commonly referred to as Training, is centrally led, yet is driven by the business goals of the Community Bank.  Business Training - provides learning programs designed to enable employees in all Lines of Business to attain full performance on the job. Learning plans for all employees are organized into the following categories:  Sales, Client Management, Technology, Functional (job specific) and Continuing Education.  This Business Training Specialist position is primarily focused on our Key Centers and will be based in the Tacoma area.

 

The duties and responsibilities of this position include: 

?  Schedule and deliver ongoing training courses to a variety of audience levels.

?  Responsible for delivering core training to newly hired Key Center Tellers and sales/sales tool training to Key Center Leads and Management Staff.

?  Become certified to deliver all courses as needed.

?  Manage national or regional, training projects and initiatives. 

?  Serve as master trainer/coordinator for Key Employee Development courses.

?  Delivers quality services and consistently demonstrates all the Key Values.

?  Consults with clients to determine training needs and schedules classes accordingly

 

To qualify, the ideal candidate will have the following combination of education and experience:

?  Bachelors Degree preferred with 1 to 2 years stand up training and facilitation experience required.

?  Training and facilitation experience must be in a classroom setting and may be from financial services, call center or other similar retail environment.

?  Must also have technical training experience that includes software, register or point of sale.

?  Must be able to travel up to 30% and have reliable transportation.
