Job Description

HoneyTree Early Learning Center is seeking an organized, dependable Center Director with a passion for children and education.  Candidate must have proven leadership abilities, outstanding customer service, strong communication skills (written and verbal) and excellent references.

Qualifications:BA/BS/AAS degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development, or Child Development Credential or Montessori Certificate Four years of Childcare/Early Childhood experience (two of which must have been in an administrative/supervisory position)

 

Relevant Work Experience: 2 yrs. Supervisor/Manager

  Classroom experience a plus



 

Responsibilities:

Manage/supervise Center in a manner that will ensure a safe environment for all children Ensure proper implementation of Pinnacle Curriculum Recruit, hire, train, develop and maintain quality staff Implement measures to ensure maximum enrollment Manage budget to ensure achievement of financial goals Establish and manage program to allow for strong communication with parents Supervise the implementation of USDA-approved menus to ensure the children are receiving nutritional meals and snacks Interface with state licensing and other regulatory agencies to ensure continued compliance Properly maintain all financial functions related to tuition and fee collection and employee payroll Ensure all staff understand and adhere to NECPA Accreditation Standards Oversee facility and grounds to ensure superior appearance
