We are now hiring Teachers and Associate Teachers to work with children ages infant, toddler and preschool at our newly constructed Octagon Childcare Center on Roosevelt Island, NYC. Qualifications for Teachers:Degree in Education and/or Certification requiredExperience with children under age five in a classroom setting preferredDesire to work with children and families Familiarity with developmentally appropriate curriculumCommitment to professional developmentEnthusiastic team player

 

Qualifications for Associate Teachers:Demonstrated knowledge & interest in working with young childrenExperience in child care setting or experience as a nanny, camp counselor etc.Minimum 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GEDExperience in a group care setting preferred.
