JOB DESCRIPTION - Role and Responsibilities

The role of the Client Trainer is to provide excellent training and support, enhance product usage, and enable clients to derive maximum benefit from the Reuters product range. This position partners with the Sales teams to ensure that programs are in line with the client's strategic needs and ensures client satisfaction. You will provide proactive support to the client and have a deep understanding of their business.


· Deliver all aspects of basic training on Reuters Desktop products to match user requirements both on and off-site, and in one-on-one or classroom settings.


· Build strong relationships with our end user client base to ensure client retention and increased use of Reuters' applications within those assigned accounts.


· Provide workflow solutions to end users at the client site.


· Provide a high level of specialist training in support of specialized segments, such as: course design and delivery of premium level training at clients sites, Train the Trainer programs, and train Market Data and Help Desk staff.


· Manage assigned client training events by identifying and coordinating all required resources needed to make sure a successful event occurs.


· Continuously build personal knowledge of the markets; attend professional courses and seminars to gain knowledge of market factors affecting assigned market area.


· Work with Sales Teams to manage training in the context of revenue-generating training opportunities.


· Maintain communication channels with other functions and departments in order to share information relating to clients and users, enabling Reuters to offer complete customer service and to respond to change.


· Act as the key, on-site customer contact for clients as well as the resource for the Sales teams for all aspects of client training and customer satisfaction.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS- Required Skills and Education


 


· Preferred 2 to 3 years business experience in a financial services institution or related educational studies. 


· Functional experience in training, sales, trading, financial advisory, research or account management a plus .


· Strong Customer Service skills as demonstrated by an ability to anticipate and meet customer needs.


· Proficiency with financial research applications and/or trading floor technology.


· Previous experience with Reuters products a plus.


· Prior training or presentation experience a plus, including content delivery.


· Advanced proficiency with Excel, Microsoft Office.


· Proven ability to build relationships with clients, users and colleagues.


· Ability to prioritize and deliver quality results in a time sensitive environment.


· Proven project management experience and/or work flow analysis.
