College Recruiter
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for scheduling and providing presentations to high school seniors for the purpose of recruiting for building working relationships with students, parents, and high school personnel utilizing the relationship marketing principles.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:To actively generate interest and recruit traditional students for the campuses of Bryant & Stratton College through service presentations to high school students.To know and work closely with high school administration, guidance counselors, and teachers. Place special emphasis on department chairpersons. Share with them all pertinent information and keep them updated on developments at BSC.To set up and conduct service presentations in business, vocational, and senior academic classes in the Fall and Winter and junior academic classes in the Spring, securing and qualifying lead cards.To assist in the follow-up with those students who express an interest in visiting and/or applying to the college. To forward all qualified leads to the Directors of Admissions at the respective campuses.To perform complete and timely sales activity consistently in your territory, including, but not limited to, presentation bookings, confirmations, account development, college fairs, advisory boards, open houses, field trips, student retention, and student follow-up.To perform all the necessary tasks to actively promote Bryant & Stratton College, articulation agreements, partnerships, and scholarships in assigned high schools and the community.To participate and assist in all high school admissions functionsTo include parents in all functions of traditional recruitmentTo work a flexible schedule to meet our consumer's needs.To perform all other tasks as assigned by the Associate Director of High School Relations
EDUATION & QUALIFICATIONS:Associates degree in marketing, communication, or related field. 2-4 years of experience in public speaking may be substituted for the educational requirement.1-2 years public speaking or presenting programs to small or large groupsAbility to work independently and act with integritySales experience a plus
